Edit Registration Questions after they have been added.

This release includes a new feature allowing the event author to edit questions added to registrations for an event.

For example, if a question was added to collect the student id number, but was spelled incorrectly, the event author now has the ability to edit the question.

In previous versions of the application, the event author would be forced to delete the question and add a new one.  This enhancement applies to both registrations added to events manually as well as via product templates.

Delete Events by import

This release includes a new feature which allows for the administrator to delete all events for a specific import.

Please note, this applies only to imports created after the initial release date of 02.16.17.

When deleting events by import, and the import is a persistent import all events created on all runs of the import will be deleted.

Exercise caution when using this feature for persistent imports.

Product Template Question Ordering

This release includes a new feature which allows for you to specify the order which custom questions are presented to the person registering for an event or purchasing a sellable item.

For example, you can create a product template that collects the following information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Year of Graduation, and ID Number.

This feature allows you to specify the order in which the questions are displayed to the registrant. In previous versions of the application the order of the questions for product templates could not be changed.

These changes ensure that edits made to a product when editing a series do not affect occurrences of that series that have been de-linked.

This ensures that intentional changes to a de-linked occurrence are not lost when choosing "Edit Series" from the drop down. 

Please note, you may notice separate line items for the product under the Product Revenue grid in the event dashboard.  One contains the quantity sold before the occurrence was de-linked, and the other reflects those sold after.

Event Pagination

A new feature is included in this release which changes the way the list and summary view display events. In all previous versions of Active Calendar, all events (up to 1,000) were displayed on a single page, resulting in a very intensive load and increased time to load the events. At times, this limitation resulted in not showing all of the events in the requested date range.

 The list and summary view will now load the first 125 events in the search range, and build a series of pages to display the remaining events in the search range. The number of events to display per page is customizable via Site Settings > Layout Settings.

Payment Type

This release includes a new feature for registrations added via the dashboard by an event administrator. This feature allows for the administrator to classify the type of registration.

The following Payment types will be available: “Complimentary”, “Over the phone”, and “At the door”.

“Over the phone” payments must be processed outside of Active Calendar’s payment processing capabilities.

Please note, registrations added by administrators using the payment type of “At the door”, or “Over the phone”, will still generate a transaction fee, which will be due to Active Data and Invoiced Monthly.

Over the Phone payment types will display as the $ amount due, with an additional paragraph, "Any applicable payment information for this event was collected over the phone. Please contact the event organizer with any questions related to the totals displayed on this email or processing your payment”.

At the door payment types will display as the $ amount due, with an additional paragraph, "Any applicable payment for this event is due at the door. Please contact the event organizer with any questions related to the totals displayed on this email or providing your payment."

This release includes an enhancement to SAML for further support of ADFS implementations. Active Calendar now supports the use of single log out with ADFS implementations of SAML where a destination attribute is required.

Additionally, we now support the re-use of an IDP attribute more than one time. For example, the attribute - "email_address" can be used for both User ID and Email.
